LG Electronics is looking for a candidate to fill a position in our B2B Division. As a Sales and Technical Manager for the LED Business for LG, you will be responsible for managing the overall go-to market strategies and activities for the Direct View LED business in the B2B Division. Product line responsibility will include all LED categories including indoor and outdoor. This role will report into the Sales Division of LG.
Area of Responsibility
Develop key vertical strategies for LED to address Retail, Corporate, Control room, Large venue, Government, etc. segments
§ Introduce LG into existing relationships in select verticals
§ Work with Marketing to source and develop new leads
§ Prospect into new accounts
Out of Home
§ Will call upon independent billboard operators to educate, support and sell digital displays
Sports – High School Park and Recreation
§ Will help in developing winning proposals/sales propositions
§ Will develop an effective sales activity pipeline of sufficient cold calls, referrals, lead qualification, sustainable relationships, and acceptable order.
Education level and/or relevant experience(s)
§ 5-15 years of experience
§ Minimum of 5 to 7 years of LED product line experience and professional B2B route to market experience
§ Bachelor’s degree or higher in marketing, business, communications, engineering or technology
Knowledge and skills (general and technical)
§ General technical aptitude
§ Motivated and a team player. Initiative to solve problems and seek improvement. Goal oriented with proven leadership capability
Other requirements (licenses, certifications, specialized training, physical or mental abilities required)
§ Must be willing to travel 1-2 times per month
§ Must have your own vehicle
