  • Overview

    LG Electronics Inc. is looking for a candidate to fill a position in our Mobile Communication division.  As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for delivering an action plan by account to achieve specified targets.  This position is also responsible for developing and implementing collaborative business plans that deliver long term mutual growth with the Key Account(s). The incumbent owns achievement of targets and Trade Spend levels within approved budgets/guidelines.

    Key Activities/Elements

    1.     Account  Planning

     

    25%

    §  Develops internal portfolio plan, including strategies and initiatives, based upon insights

    §  Develops marketing, trade investment, assortment, promotion, in-store and merchandising plans, gaining customer alignment and resources required for implementation

    §  Integrates new item launch plans into annual plans

    §  Develops clearance plans for old sku’s

    §  Identifies business shortfall or opportunity and develops short-term solutions

    §  Periodically reviews progress against plan and adjusts as necessary

    §  Conducts competitive analysis to identify opportunities

    2. Customer Leadership

     

    25%

    §  Penetrates and establishes relationships across multiple touch points of customer’s value chain  (Marketing, Category Management, Supply Chain, Store Operations)

    §  Develops and makes presentations to the Customer to gain buy-in and alignment on proposed plans, strategies and initiatives

    §  Meets with customer on a regular basis to discuss issues, plans, initiatives, etc.

    §  Conducts periodic joint business reviews

    §  Addresses service related  and other issues at  the customer

    §  Identifies areas of conflict, identifies potential solutions and negotiates with customer to resolve

    §  Develops account profiles

    3. Plan Execution

    §  Oversees plan and initiative Implementation collaboratively with customer

    §  Monitors account compliance with plans

    §  Ensures execution according to plan for new item launches

    §  Ensures proper brand message is delivered

    §  Manages inventory and sell-through activity

    §  Conducts scenario planning to address opportunities that arise

    4. Financial Planning

     

    25%

    §  Develops joint scorecard and periodically reviews progress against scorecard

    §  Creates bottom-up forecast by sku

    Qualifications

    Education level and/or relevant experience(s)

    §  University degree preferably in business

    §  5+ years equivalent independent account experience

    Knowledge and skills (general and technical)

    §  Excellent communication skills

    §  Excellent presentation skills

    Other requirements (licenses, certifications, specialized training, physical or mental abilities required)

    §  Creative ability

    §  Able to form productive relationships with all levels of an organization on an ongoing basis.
