  • Overview

    LG Electronics Inc. is looking for a candidate to fill a position in our Marketing division.  As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for providing support to the Senior Manager, Corporate Communications in managing relationships with a variety of media including tech, business, local and vertical, and across media types including blogs, online, print and broadcast.


    Public Relations

    • Coordinate PR initiatives & efforts between marketing, sales, HQ, and other functions and external agency partners;
    • Assist with creation & management of company blog;
    • Assist with coordination of media related events;
    • Assist with coordination of speaking opportunities and awards programs;
    • Provide coordination to support product launches, marketing campaigns and partner programs;
    • Support implementation of consumer and B2B promotional campaigns;
    • Support the maintenance of the Company’s working relationships with the media – including local and national newspapers, trade magazines, radio, and television – and company’s spokespeople;
    • Assist with review of editorial schedules, press releases  and other media targeted material;
    • Assist with organization of press briefings, media training, photography, and press attendance at company and industry events & trade shows;
    • Assist with maximizing  high-profile media coverage on company website and maintaining the PR site on company’s intranet;
    • Assist with company announcements;
    • Assist with drafting & editing departmental documentation;
    • Prepare marketing & event kits;
    • Work closely with Digital Marketing team to optimize media coverage online;
    • Assist Head of Marketing in the preparation of corporate decks & material;
    • Assist Senior Manager, Corporate Communications in everyday PR functions as needed;
    • Prepare corporate & product PR reports;
    • Other duties as assigned.



    • Coordinate with external partners and their respective agencies;
    • Coordinate with internal/external customers and facilitate allocation of hospitality assets;
    • Support management of sponsorship  budgets,  processing invoices and reconciling accounts;
    • Generate monthly reports;
    • Facilitate the fulfillment of product samples;
    • Assist Senior Manager, Corporate Communications in everyday Sponsorship management  tasks as needed;
    • Other duties as assigned.


    • Bachelor’s degree in Communications or a related field;
    • Minimum of 3  years of relevant PR & sponsorship experience;
    • Experience with media campaigns;
    • Experience with social media from a marketing/PR standpoint;
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills (samples required);
    • Strong presentation skills;
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and demands simultaneously;
    • Excellent organizational skills, with a high level of attention to detail;
    • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to develop relationships and communicate effectively;
    • Effective working relationships with team members and managers across geographical locations;
    • Strong MS Office skills, including intermediate - advanced PowerPoint.
