    As the Product Training Manager you will be responsible for supporting the overall company strategy. You will be controlling the product training process from planning to implementation and the administration and tasks that follow suit in order to successfully complete the departmental deliverables and organizational objectives.Reporting to the VP of sales, the Training Manager is responsible for executing the product, communications, and brand marketing strategy to the RSA.  The Training Manager articulates LG’s product value, line logic and premium positioning and creates the sales language that generates sell through.

    Responsibilities

    • Developing the annual category training strategy
    • Creation of sales and RSA communication strategy
    • Liaison with HQ product team, and US training team  to gain best in class product knowledge
    • Competitive product benchmarking and comparisons
    • Liaison with key account training contacts and KAMS to implement training programs/Carrier training programs (Rogers Fast-track etc.)
    • Communication, product training (Train the Trainers) and category direction to Field Marketing Regional Managers & Field Team Agency
    • Field Agency main point of contact/client
    • Suggest Vendor RFP’s if necessary based on LG’s current needs
    • Host Bi-Weekly RSM/MSR regional Calls
    • Be the lead trainer for the HQ training facility, as well as planning, managing and executing the training room events.
    • Internal product training and messaging (Service, Order fulfillment, RSMs, National Account Managers, KAMs)
    • RSA sell sheets (NPI), and sales talk brochures
    • Set weekly/monthly priorities and goals
    • Manager ISM module
    • LGlearning.ca content and EPK decks management
    • Regional  training events: venue, set up, staffing, content, training videos, and product demos
    • Retail marketing collaboration with Brand Team (POP, RSA selling tools)
    • Trade and consumer show management (product, resources, staffing, set up)
    • Budget management, and invoice processing for all training and field activities
    • Managing samples, showroom, and training facilities
    • Collaborate on KPI Planning and Tracking for MSR Team
    • Build MSR team rotation priorities (with collaboration from RSM team)
    • Swag Planning/Ordering/Procurement
    • Ride Along’s (Team Coaching/Support)
    • Review all documents/Reporting

    Qualifications

    • University Degree or College Diploma or Related experience:
    • Experience in retail commissioned sales of Appliances or Consumer Electronics products helpful.  Related sales experience helpful.
    • Experience in Wireless Mobile Communications an asset
    • Experience as a manufacturer’s representative helpful.
    • Developing, managing and Executing training plan from end to end
    • Proficiency with the Internet, Microsoft Internet Explorer and Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and database management.
    • Public speaking exposure welcomed.
    • High creativity for finding unique ways to demonstrate LG products
    • Proven ability to lead people.
    • Positive and enthusiastic outgoing personality – Ability to motivate others.
    • Strong communication skills in a public speaking environment.
    • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
    • Great attention to details.
    • Effective decision-making, problem solving and analytical skills.
    • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changes.
    • Ability to work without supervision and multi-task in a fast paced environment.
    • Proven ability to plan, develop and effectively manage a budget
