    LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company has an immediate opportunity for a QA Engineer in our North York location.  QA Engineer will be responsible for the validation of wireless products and related accessories for commercial launch. QA Engineer performs tests in the office and at the field in Canada.


    • Apply QA Engineering knowledge/theories onto new projects and effectively manage them.
    • Conduct the software validation tests as per the test cases provided by LG Electronics Canada, HQ, and Mobile Service Providers.
    • Develop test plan, design and implement test cases as per new technology.
    • Record and register issues to report them to R&D and HQ Quality Management team
    • Support R&D by elaborating issues and test scenarios and providing related logs
    • Fulfill user manual proofreading
    • Execute the automated test system by designing scripts to run
    • Establish testing/validation schedule and items with Quality Management team and Technical Account Managers
    • Business travel: committed to intermittent business travel to designate areas (10%)


    • Bachelor’s degree required, Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or technical field preferred.
    • Effective working knowledge of smartphone, OS(operating system), and mobile wireless technologies – CDMA/ GSM/ WCDMA/ LTE/ VoLTE/ VoWiFi.
    • 1-3 year of QA test experience
    • Wireless telecommunications testing experience is highly desired and preferred.
    • Experience in the use of computer methods of data collection, data analysis, and engineering reporting
    • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
    • Strong communication skills; verbal and written
    • Good organization and documentation skills
    • Team player being able to work with team members, and Technical Account Managers
