Sales Planning & Finance


Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for preparing executive summaries and presentations to top management related to Business plans, historic performance and strategic industry insights. BI Analyst leads interactions and negotiations with external suppliers of information (industry tracking, market intelligence, etc.)


Sales analytics reports and support

  • Support sales team on analytic reports based on historic performance. Preparing weekly, monthly and quarterly sales & status reports
  • Compile process and analyze sell out information.
  • Compile data and generate reports that will enable forecasting and identification of issues & opportunities.
  • Reconcile Promotional Spending.
  • Assist in preparation and execution of new product launch processes
  • Execute special projects / analysis and presentations when required.

Market analytics

  • Track competitor’s behavior and identify trends and opportunities.
  • Analyze industry trends and identify areas of opportunity.
  • Analyze and track retailer behavior and compliance on print and web advertising.
  • Support sales team with market insights and ppt presentations when necessary.
  • Support top management with data compilation and PPT generation when necessary.
  • Run model to model comparisons between LG models and competitors and present findings.

Promotional plans

  • Develop promotional plans based on analytics and historic indicators, as well as strategic direction from leadership team.
  • Analyze sell-out information and run rate performance during promotional activity.
  • Track and compile forecasted flyer activity.
  • Maintain tools that will enable the sales team forecast and track promotional activity.
  • Manage communication of promotional pricing activity to the different stake holders / channels.

Forecasting & budgeting

  • Support the forecasting of the business by keeping tools up to date and supporting related processes and activities
  • Support the development of annual plans and budgets based on leadership direction.

Tool development

  • Collaborate with other areas to develop improve and operate tools to enhance our sales capabilities


  • MBA would be an asset
  • Business or Engineering bachelor’s degree
  • 1-2 years’ experience of sales administration / customer service / logistics / sales account management / demand planner.
  • Experience in managing flow of inventory and logistics.
  • Sales Analytical experience is a plus.
  • Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Power Point and especially Excel)
  • Excellent multitasking and communication skills
  • Apt to work under time pressure
  • Superior customer service orientation
  • Acute sense of urgency and personal responsibility
  • Outgoing personality.
  • Ability to establish and foster relationships with customers
  • Korean language would be an asset
