Overview

The National Account Manager is responsible for delivering an action plan for the Canadian market to achieve specified targets in the national retail segment.  This person is also responsible for developing and implementing collaborative business plans that deliver long term mutual growth.  The incumbent owns achievement of targets and marketing plans within approved budgets/guidelines.  Responsible for the ongoing account management and business development of national retailers, with a primary focus on the desktop displays and projectors. Driving revenue growth from existing accounts as well as identifying opportunities for growth inside and outside the existing portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure monthly and quarterly targets are achieved
  • Listing of core and premium SKUs by category
  • Develop account profile– key contacts / revenue /LG revenue /competitors
  • Create revenue plan by account with buyer – Forecasting 90 days out
  • Deliver action plan by account to achieve target revenues
  • Regular account visits
  • Expand LG line within current dealer base in all categories
  • Prospect for potential new customers
  • Provide timely competitive information to head office
  • Ensure proper brand message is delivered via channel
  • ie. Flyer, ROP, Web, Radio, In-Store
  • Develop account specific promotional plans 30- 90 days out
  • Forecasting by major account by month by SKU - 90 days out
  • Gap analysis by major account to find opportunities
  • Market analysis worksheet – to be continually updated on monthly basis
  • Revenue and share data by category including market trends
  • Service related issues
  • RA and DOA issues
  • Credit related concerns
  • Maintain proactive relationship with order desk counterpart
  • Timely response to all dealer inquiries
  • Memorize LG product knowledge and related materials
  • Maintain expert knowledge of key competitors in key growth categories
  • Keep abreast of industry related m/s information
  • Keep up to date on market changes thru the following

 

Qualifications

  • University degree preferably in business or 5 years equivalent independent account experience
  • High proficiency in Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Word)
  • Proficient in Industry standard ERP systems (SAP, Oracle etc)
  • Excellent level customer communication skills and sales acumen
  • High Level of Efficiency, Multitasking, Organization and detail oriented
