  • Overview

    Rebates & Promotions Analyst manages various types of promotional activities in order to support Sales representatives and Product Managers to generate revenue and drive incremental business with the valued Enterprise level customers (B2B) in a cost effective and controlled manner. The role assists Sales team and Product Managers in day to day or periodical operations such as sales promotion registration, trend analysis and gap of Sales Promotional Expense. The position communicates and provides reports to various stakeholders in the organization (Sales team, PM team, Sales VP, CFO&CEO and HQ office in South Korea).


    Sales Promotion Registration Management

    • Register sales promotions in a timely manner while ensuring it is properly captured in the operation system as planned by sales representatives
    • Monitor approval process of all types of promotional activities; ensure approval line is properly set up in order to reflect the promotional expense in the corresponding period

    Promotional Budget & Expense Management

    • Create an annual contract based promotional budget and other promotional expenses by comparing planned vs. actual expenditures by each Business Unit (B2B, B2C).
    • Adjust or terminate expired promotions through the remaining balance assessments
    • Analyze budget expenditures and provide budget management guidance to the sales representatives and product managers

    Annual Contract Management

    • Oversee annual contract Sign-off progress prior to each fiscal year
    • Execute Annual Promotion registration process on behalf of sales representatives and product managers
    • Complete gap analysis of Annual Promotions’ terms & conditions and report the results to the Leadership team (Sales VP, CFO, CEO)

    Data Analysis & Reporting

    • Forecast landing estimation of sales promotions in the current months and the future periods through sales promotion simulation
    • Communicate the month-end result to the Business Units and present gap analysis of forecasting vs. actual including P/L & balance sheet review
    • Perform propriety analysis of balance by channel inventory stock (Budget accrual according to the agreed rate)
    • Provide status reports such as Promotional expense spending progress and Promotional budget balance status
    • Adhere to the KPIs according to the sales promotion compliance policy


    • 5+ years relevant work experience in a corporate environment (Sales Administration, Finance or Corporate Planning department)
    • Diploma /Certificate in Administration or applicable work experience
    • Budgeting experience would be an asset
    • Time management & strong interpersonal communication skills
    • High analytical and problem solving skills
    • Prompt response to internal/ external customers’ requests
    • Strong Proficiency with Microsoft Office especially Excel (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and database management)
    • Speaking Korean is preferred(due to communication with HQ Korea)
